Golareh was born in Tehran, Iran and immigrated to Canada at the age of 18. She has a bachelor’s degree from UBC in cell biology and genetics. It was during her second year of her B.Sc. that she fell in love with research and consequently is pursuing her passion in the Interdisciplinary Oncology Program, where she hopes to one day contribute to the cure for breast cancer.
